Giving Back Nevada and Jaguar Land Rover Las Vegas host a Blanket Drive

 

     What started as a weekend project has slowly grown to become a strong influence

for good and change in Nevada. The mission of Giving Back Nevada is simple, to help as

many people and animals as it can. With the help of Jaguar Land Rover Las Vegas,

Giving Back Nevada has been able to reach and impact, people who are struggling with

homelessness, underprivileged youth, animal rescue, and much more. During this

December, Giving Back Nevada is teaming up with Jaguar Land Rover Las Vegas to host

a blanket drive. The proceeds of this drive will be distributed to those in need, which is

especially poignant right now during the winter months. The dealership is honored to be

an official drop-off location for the blankets.

 

           It was because of her love and lifelong devotion to community service that Guri

Digerose started Giving Back Nevada. Her passion for the community is contagious!

Digerose said, “I love what I do and who I can help. Four of us diligently serve through

Giving Back Nevada, and not one takes a paycheck. We care and want to see people and

animals get the help they deserve.” Giving Back Nevada relies heavily on donations and

community support. Digerose continued, “Giving a little can help a lot, especially those

in need. Whether providing water to the thirsty, meals to the hungry, blankets to the

cold—we’re here to give back.”

 

           Jaguar Land Rover Las Vegas is excited to be part of the blanket drive. General

Manager, Ray Dinardi, put the first donation in the decorated holiday box at the

dealership. Customers and community members are welcome to bring a new, clean, or

gently used blanket between now and Christmas Eve. Nonprofit organizations like Giving

Back Nevada rely heavily on the support of partners like Jaguar Land Rover Las Vegas.

Digerose said, “We are so grateful for the support of Jaguar Land Rover Las Vegas.

Grateful doesn’t seem like a big enough word to use for all they’ve done to help us. It’s

an honor to partner with them and help the community together. With their support and

help, we can reach more people. It’s huge for us!”
